Disdik DKI Calls Honorary Personnel The Perpetrators Of Embezzlement Of KIP Funds At SMKN 52 Jakarta

Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Education Office, Sarjoko, said that the case of embezzlement of Smart Indonesia Card (KIP) funds at SMK Negeri 52 Jakarta had been resolved.

Based on the examination of the Education Office, it was revealed that the perpetrators of embezzlement of student PIP funds at the school only work as honorary staff.

"I emphasize that this abuse is not by the school. This is done by an individual. He is an honorary worker there," Sarjoko told reporters, Monday, February 3.

Thus, the follow-up to the development of the perpetrators of embezzlement of KIP funds was handed over to the school because the person concerned was not a civil servant of the DKI Provincial Government.

Sarjoko said that this case had been resolved amicably. 13 students who were victims of embezzlement of KIP funds have got their rights back.

"The KIP funds of 13 students who were previously delayed have been handed over as a whole. The point is that we leave the guidance to the school. We will monitor what is being done later," said Sarjoko.

Previously, it was discussed on social media about the alleged embezzlement of KIP funds at SMKN 52 Jakarta. One of them was revealed by the brorondm Instagram account.

In his upload, a brorondm account said that one of the 52 Vocational High School students had received KIP in 2021, but had never received this information from the school.

"Immediately he will inform the alumni group and it turns out that many do not know they have ever received it," said the brorondm account.

The student, revealed a brorondm account, finally ventured to go to school to question KIP's acceptance status.

Later, the student made a statement that he had received IDR 1 million KIP funds and stated that he would not comment on anything related to the distribution of KIP at SMKN 52 Jakarta.

"After that, I escorted the batch. The school admitted that there was embezzlement and promised to return it. The information from the Jakarta Education Office already knew and would immediately impose sanctions," he said.
