President Prabowo's Schedule And Tourist Places In India Today

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto has several main agendas for state visits in India on Saturday, January 26, or the third day of the visit to the republic.

"Tomorrow, January 25th, it is a state visit or state visit day to be carried out, while January 26th is a Republic Day or Republican Day commemoration commemorated by India," said Indonesian Ambassador to India Ina Krisnamurthi, when met by reporters at the Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi, quoted by Antara, Saturday, January 25.

Prabowo visited India on January 23, 2025, for a state visit and to attend as an honorary guest (chief guest) of India's 76th Republic Day (Republic Day), Sunday, January 26.

President Prabowo's series of state activities in India are centered in New Delhi, including at the hotel where the President spends the night, then Hyderabad House, Rashtrapati Bhavan, at the location of India's Republic Day celebration at Kartavya Path.

Information gathered from the official website of the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, President Prabowo on Saturday is scheduled to attend his welcoming reception at the Presidential Palace of Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, at 10.00 am local time.

Generally, the head of foreign countries visiting India was greeted with a ceremony of honor in Rashtrapati Bhavan.

After attending the reception procession, President Prabowo and his entourage are scheduled to continue their journey to the tomb of the hero Rajghat Memorial Park and lay wreaths at Raj Ghat the point where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.

The procession is a form of respect for the state guest to Mahatma Gandhi, who is the father of the nation's founder in India.

In Rajghat, apart from Gandhi, there was also a memorial for heroes and other well-known figures, including Jawaharlal Nehru, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, Chandra totalio and Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Then, the President is scheduled to continue his activities at Hyderabad House to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In Hyderabad House, President Prabowo and PM Modi are scheduled to attend bilateral meetings, witness the signing of several memorandums of understanding of cooperation (MoU) and deliver joint press statements in front of the media, both from national media in India, Indonesia, and several foreign media.

In Hyderabad House, President Prabowo's state agenda with PM Modi may last for approximately three hours.

After that, the President is scheduled to return to the Taj Mahal Hotel and receive Indian Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar at 16.00 local time.

Finally, President Prabowo is scheduled to meet with Indian President Droupadi Murmu at Presidential Palace Rashtrapati Bhavan at 19.00 local time.
