After Being Revoked, The Tangerang Sea Pagar Bambu Will Be Used As Evidence And Used By Fishermen

TANGERANG - Joint officers consisting of the Indonesian Navy, to the Ministry of Marine Affairs of Fisheries (KKP) are carrying out the process of dismantling the 30.16 km long fence in the Tangerang Sea for the second time on Wednesday, January 22, 2025.

Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), Sakti Wahyu Trenggono said that the bamboo that was used as a sea fence, after being dismantled, would be used as evidence.

"The bamboo (Bekas Pagar Puing in the Tangerang Sea) will also be used as evidence," Trenggono told reporters in Tanjung Pasir, Teluknaga, Tangerang Regency, Wednesday, January 22.

In addition, the fence, which amounts to thousands of sticks, can also be used by fishermen to captive green shells.

"Then fishermen can also use it to cage green shells," he said.

It is known that the demolition of the Tangerang sea fence, which was carried out by joint officers such as the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), the Indonesian Navy, Pol Air, KPLP, Bakamla, Banten Provincial Government and Fishermen.

The demolition was carried out at two points, namely Tanjung Pasir, Teluknaga and Pulau Berhitung, Kronjo, Tangerang Regency.
