Nanang Gymbal, Suspected Of Murder Sandy Permana Arrested

JAKARTA Nanang Irawan (45) alias Gimmbal was arrested by the police on suspicion of the murder of Sandy Permana, the action actor who played the soap opera "Misteri Gunung Merapi 3".

Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim) of Bekasi District Police, Kompol Onkoseno Grandiarso Sukahar, quoting ANTARA, confirmed the news of Nanang's arrest.

"Yes, he has been arrested," said Kompol Onkoseno, Wednesday, January 15.

Unfortunately, the chronology of Nanang Gymbal's arrest did not explain. He only said that the alleged perpetrator is currently being taken to Polda Metro Jaya.

"Towards Polda Metro Jaya," he said.

Onkoseno also explained that the arrest of the alleged perpetrator of the murder was due to a joint team from the Bekasi Metro Police and the Sub-Directorate of Mobile Investigation (Sub-Directorate of Resmob) of the General Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police.

Head of Sub-Directorate for Resmob of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) Polda Metro Jaya Adjunct Senior Commissioner of Police (AKBP) Ressa Fiardy Marasabessy explained that the alleged perpetrator was arrested in the Karawang area, West Java.

Previously, residents of the TNI-Polri Housing RT 05 RW 08, Cibarusah Jaya Village, Cibarusah District, Bekasi Regency, West Java, and the victim's wife revealed the suspected killer of Sandy Permana.

"Nanang Irawan alias Gimmbal (45), the alleged perpetrator of the murder of Sandy Permana, once lived side by side and his house was next to the victim's house," said local resident Bambang Prayitno (56) in Bekasi, Tuesday (14/1).

He said several years ago the alleged perpetrator who had also worked as a film crew lived right next to the victim's house. But some time later the house was sold to one of his friends.

"Kru juga, kru film, memang rumah pertama sisi rumah itu terus di-over sama temannya juga namanya Imam. Dia (tersangka pelaku) pindahkan ke sini, masih satu komple, tetapi berbeda gang," katanya.

Actor Sandy Permana, who also played the role of "Arya Soma" in the soap opera "Mak Lampir", died after it was found that residents had covered in blood in the Cibarusah area, Bekasi Regency, West Java, on Sunday (12/1).

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi Police, Kompol Onkoseno Grandiarso Sukahar, explained that the victim who was dying was found by his neighbor.

"Then he was taken to the hospital, but could not be helped. And when we checked, the victim did have several stab wounds," said Onkoseno.
