Artist Sandy Permana Found Dead Covered In Blood In Bekasi

JAKARTA Artist Sandy Permana, known for her role in the soap opera "Mak Lampir", was found dead covered in blood in the Cibarusah area, Bekasi Regency, West Java, on Sunday 12 January.

Head of the Bekasi Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim), Kompol Onkoseno Grandiarso Sukahar, revealed that the victim was found dead by his neighbor. Sandy was immediately taken to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.

"When we checked, several stab wounds were found on the victim's body," said Onkoseno when contacted. He explained that the wounds were located in the chest, stomach, and back of the neck.

Even though when Sandy was found still conscious, he finally died on his way to the hospital. The police then conducted a surveillance camera (CCTV) footage around the scene and are currently hunting for an alleged perpetrator.

"We have identified something, it is currently in the process of being searched," said Onkoseno, adding that one suspected perpetrator was being hunted by the police.

This incident shocked many, especially Sandy Permana's fans who knew him as one of the famous artists in the world of Indonesian soap operas. The police continue to investigate this case to uncover the motive behind the murder and arrest the perpetrators responsible.
