Sue Pemalang Pilkada To MK, Vicky Prasetyo Says There's A Voice Box In The Toilet

JAKARTA - Candidate Pairs for Regent and Deputy Regent of Pemalang Number 1 Vicky Prasetyo and Mochamad Suwendi said there were ballot boxes stored in the KPU toilets in Pemalang Regency, Central Java, during the vote count of the 2024 Pemalang Pilkada.

"When the vote count took place, several ballot boxes were found in the Pemalang Regency KPU toilet which were stored as if to be destroyed," said Vicky-Suwendi's attorney, Marloncius Sihaloho, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, January 9.

With the discovery of the letter box, Vicky-Suwendi suspects that the Pemalang Regency KPU is trying not to count all incoming votes. The famous person admitted that he was suspicious of the Pemalang Regency KPU who was the defendant in this case.

"The Petitioner is of the opinion that the discovery of this ballot box can raise suspicions that other ballot boxes were also hidden by the Pemalang Regency KPU, but no whereabouts were found," said Marloncius.

In addition, Vicky-Suwendi admitted to finding the practice of money politics in the 2024 Pemalang Pilkada. According to them, candidate pair number 3 Anom Widiyantoro-Nurkholes distributed money before the election day.

"The petitioner found that there were many parcels containing several items with the logo of candidate pair number 3, namely Anom Widiyantoro-Nurkholes, which were tucked in an envelope containing Rp100 thousand and given secretly to residents," he said.

In addition to money politics, both of them also claimed to have found several ballots at the election location which contained the choice of candidate pair number 3. Vicky-Suwendi said this had been known by the Pemalang Regency KPU, but was ignored.

"The Petitioner can prove that there are violations in a structured, systematic and massive manner in the 2024 Pemalang Regent and Deputy Regent Election," said Marloncius.

Berdasarkan dalil-dalil tersebut, Vicky-Suwendi meminta MK membatalkan hasil Pilkada Pemalang 2024 yang ditetapkan KPU setempat.Ia juga meminta MK untuk memerintahkan pelaksanaan ulang Pilkada Pemalang dengan transparan dan jujur.

"Ordered the respondent (Pemalang Regency KPU) and candidate pair number 3 (Anom Widiyantoro-Nurkholes) to admit that they had committed fraud in this general election so that the public could find out about the fraud," he added.

It is known that based on the Decree of the Pemalang Regency KPU Commission Number 2139 of 2024, the pair Anom Widiyantoro-Nurkholes was determined to have won 278,043 votes, while the Vicky-Suwendi pair had 121,158 votes.
