Slipping During Rain, Motorcyclist Dies After Crashing Truck

JAKARTA - HS (18), a motorcyclist, was found dead after crashing into a truck parked on the side of the Kemayoran-Pademangan Flyover road, North Jakarta, Thursday, January 9.

Head of Traffic at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Gomos Simamora, said that his party had not received any reports of the incident.

"There has been no report. There is no information on the accident, (perhaps to enter) the North Jakarta Satwil," he said when confirmed by VOI.

The victim hit a truck allegedly due to slipping because the road was slippery after it rained.

North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head, Kompol Donni Bagus Wibisono, said the fatal accident was suspected to have been a result of slipping because the road was slippery after it rained.

The victim, who was riding a Honda Vario, was found dead at the scene.

"HF was injured in the torn head and then died at the scene," said Kompol Donni when confirmed, Thursday, January 9.

The accident began when the victim was riding a motorcycle on Jalan Benyamin Sueb towards Ancol. Arriving at the Flyover derivative near the Kemayoran Toll Gate, the dump truck F 8827 HT was driven by A which was parked on the left side of the road in the same direction in front of him.

HF died at the crime scene and the motorbike he was riding was heavily damaged. HF's body has now been evacuated to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM) for an autopsy.
