JAKARTA - The General Election Commission (KPU) of DKI Jakarta officially appointed Pramono Anung and Rano Karno as the elected Governors of Jakarta in the 2024 Pilkada. This was stated in a plenary meeting to determine the pair of candidates for the 2024 DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election.

This is stated in the Decree of the DKI Jakarta KPU Number 9 of 2025 concerning the Determination of the Candidate Pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of the Elected Province of the Special Region of Jakarta in 2024 which was read by the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta KPU Wahyu Dinata.

"Determining the candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of the Special Region of Jakarta Number 3 Str. Dr. Ir. Pramono Anung Wibowo, MM and Sdr. H. Rano Karno, SIP (Si Doel) with 2,183,239 votes or 50.07% of the total valid votes, as the elected candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of the Special Region of Jakarta for the period 2025-2030 in the Election of Governor and Deputy Governor of the Special Region of Jakarta Province. 2024, "said Wahyu, Thursday, January 9.

Wahyu said that the determination of the elected candidate pair for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta began from the date of stipulation, namely Thursday, January 9, 2025.

Previously, the Candidate for Governor of Jakarta to be elected in the 2024 Pilkada, Pramono Anung, admitted that he was grateful that he and Rano Karno were appointed as elected candidates for Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta.

"First, thank God, the second is grateful, and hopefully this determination will be a matter of calming down, ensuring to Jakarta that the Jakarta governor election will become a good role model for all regions," said Pramono, Thursday, January 8.

For Pramono, the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada will be one example of holding a good election because it is running calmly because the results of the vote are not being sued by the Constitutional Court (MK).

"Similarly, when there is no quarantine and now it has entered into determination, I think this is something extraordinary, hopefully momentum like this will be maintained in the next gubernatorial elections," said Pramono.

Pramono arrived at the location along with Rano (Doel). The two of them were compact wearing brown and black batik. He was also accompanied by the Chairman of the Pramono-Rano Lies Hartono (Cak Lontong) Winning Team, and other ranks.

The Pramono-Rano pair won the Jakarta gubernatorial election with 2,183,239 votes or 50.07 of the total valid votes of 4,360,629 votes.
