Shooting On Tangerang-Merak Toll Road: Indonesian Navy Personnel Buy Honda Brio Owned By Rental Embezzled By Rentals

The shooting case that occurred at KM 45 rest area of the Merak-Tangerang toll road on Thursday, January 2, 2025, which allegedly involved three members of the Indonesian Navy, began with reports of embezzlement or Article 372 of the Criminal Code in Poslek Rajeg, Tangerang City Police.

Banten Police Chief Inspector General Suyudi Ario Seto explained that the reporter for the case was Agam Muhammad Nasruddin, the son of the rental boss of Taman Raya Rajeg, Mekarsari Village, Rajeg District, Tangerang Regency. Suyudi explained, at around 00.15 WIB, rentals were carried out at Taman Raya Rajeg, Block I, 15, RT 015, RW 005, Mekarsari Village, Rajeg District, Tangerang Regency.

"The rental was an orange Honda Brio, police number B 2694 KZO. It was rented by a Pandeglang resident named AS. Then AS handed it over to IH (DPO)," said Inspector General Suyudi to reporters, Monday, January 6.

Furthermore, IH (DPO) prepared a fake KTP and KK on behalf of the US as a condition for vehicle rental documents. Furthermore, IS and IH again sold the car to RH for Rp. 23 million.

After that, RH again sold the car to AA, an individual member of the Indonesian Navy through a man with the initials SJ for Rp. 40 million.

"This Brio car was controlled by unscrupulous members of the Indonesian Navy, then taken, which was planned to be rented for use in the Sukabumi area," he said.

Efforts to escape the Honda Brio are still known because the owner has installed 3 GPS. Although in the end only 2 GPS were successfully damaged, the owner was still able to monitor the presence of the car with 1 GPS.

"Because these two GPSes died, the owner of the rental, Agam and his father, as well as his staff, his family, conducted a search independently (independent)," he said.

They also managed to get information that this car was around Pandeglang, Banten.

"Then a search was carried out in that direction independently, until this vehicle moved to a place, up to kilometer 45, in Indomaret. That's where there was an attempt to seize or take over from the rental party," he said.

However, the incident actually caused a commotion because there was a pull-up of the vehicle that led to the shooting.

"There was a shooting," he said.

Meanwhile, the evidence confiscated were the 2021 orine Honda Brio car, Nopal B 2696 KZO and STNK. Then one vehicle key, one vehicle rental receipt, fake ID card, one fake KK sheet, fake ID card, and a photocopy of STNK Brio.

According to Vice Admiral TNI Denih Hendrata, he received a report on January 2, 2025 evening at around 20.00 from the Head of Intel Pangko Armada RI that 3 members of the TNI were at the base of Dayu's cottage.

The three TNI members were named Sertu AA, sertu RH and KLKBA. They were beaten by about 15 unknown people in the Km 45 rest area of Merak Tangerang toll road.
