Following 7 Other Police, 2 Members Of The Metro Police Were Sanctioned With 5 Years Of Demotion

JAKARTA - The Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) session with two suspected violators AJMG and WTH, members of Polda Metro Jaya, has been completed. The two policemen involved in the extortion of the 2024 Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) spectator were sanctioned with a 5-year mutation.

The two policemen are strongly suspected of being Aiptu Armadi Juli Marasi Gultom and Bripka Wahyu Tri Haryanto.

"The mutation is demotional for 5 years outside the function of law enforcement or detective," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Erdi Adrimulan Chaniago, Monday, January 6.

Not only demonstrations, both of them were also subject to special placement sanctions in the Patsus Bureauprovos Divpropam room of the National Police for 30 days, starting from December 27, 2024 to January 25, 2025.

Then, they were also sanctioned with ethics in the form of verbally apologizing before the KKEP trial and written to the leadership of the Police.

"The obligation of violators to take part in spiritual, mental, and professional knowledge training for one month," said Erdi.

The sanction was given because both were found guilty of extortion against DWP spectators. They asked the victim for some money under the pretext of being a condition of release.

"On the decision, the violator declared an appeal," said Erdi.

In a series of KKEP sessions related to extortion, 7 police officers have been tried. They are Kombes Donald Parlaungan Simanjuntak, AKP Yudhy Triananta Syaeful, AKBP Malvino Edward Yusticia, Iptu SM, Brigadier FRS, Kompol Dzul Fadlan, and S.

For Kombes Donald Parlaungan Simanjuntak, AKP Yudhy Triananta Syaeful, and AKBP Malvino Edward Yusticia were sentenced to dishonorable dismissal or dismissal (PTDH).

Then, Kompol Dzul Fadlan, Iptu SM, and S were sanctioned for 8 years. Meanwhile, Brigadier FRS was sentenced to a 5-year demonstration.

Based on this decision, all the alleged violators or seven police officers filed an appeal.
