Bar New La Bunker Permata Hijau Closes Permanently Because Residents Raided The LGBT Party

JAKARTA - The manager of a nightclub at the ITC Permata Hijau Building, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, has officially closed the bar permanently following the residents' raids on charges of the LGBT party.

"With this letter, our New La Bunker management, which is located in the ITC Permata Hijau building, stated that starting January 1, 2025, it will be permanently closed," said the manager, Steven Chang in a circular, Monday, January 6.

He said that if the place was reopened or had resumed activities, then he was ready to accept sanctions according to applicable regulations.

"That is our statement properly. If this statement is not true. Then we are willing to be given sanctions according to the applicable rules," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Kebayoran Lama Police, Kompol Widya Agustiono, said that his party was still investigating the alleged activities of LGBT at the place.

"About the allegations that LGBT is still under investigation," he said.

He admitted that until now his party had not received reports of allegations of residents asking the visitors to go home.

"Until now there has been no report," he concluded.
