Dozens Of Prospective Umrah Pilgrims In Padang Use Fake Meningitis Certificates, BKK Explores The Mode.

The Padang Health Quarantine Center (BKK), West Sumatra (West Sumatra) found dozens of prospective Umrah pilgrims suspected of using the International Certificate Vaccination (ICV) or fake meningitis certificate to leave for the Holy Land.

"From our search, there are dozens of Umrah pilgrims who are suspected of using fake ICV and we are still investigating the mode," said Head of the Padang Class I BKK Mawari Edy in Padang, Friday, January 3, as quoted by Antara.

In its supervision, the Padang Class I BKK officers found that there were prospective Umrah pilgrims who used the handwritten ICV, when they should have been, the original document was printed by a computer.

Given the case of prospective Umrah pilgrims leaving for the Holy Land using fake meningitis vaccine documents, the Padang Class I BKK moved quickly to trace and increase supervision at Minangkabau International Airport.

He said, if there are prospective Umrah and Hajj pilgrims who depart without having an official ICV or not receiving the meningitis vaccine, it can endanger personal safety and potentially transmit disease to other individuals if exposed to the virus abroad.

"So, people must understand and understand that this immunistic vaccination is intended to provide immunity for those who are vaccinated," he said.

Therefore, if anyone goes to the Holy Land without being vaccinated against meningitis, it has the potential to contract pathogenic bacteria. Therefore, the government has issued a policy that every pilgrim and Umrah must receive meningitis vaccinations.

Finally, his party appealed to the public to ensure that they get the injection or vaccine meningitis before going to Saudi Arabia. The vaccine can be carried out in a number of health facilities in partnership with the Padang Class I BKK.

For the West Sumatra area, official health facilities that can serve the vaccination include the Mada Padang Elephant Healthy Clinic, Proclamation Kimia Farma Clinic, Semen Padang Hospital, Arum Sari Clinic. Mafaza Padang Clinic, Hermina Padang Hospital, Cicik Mother and Children Hospital and Murni Elok Clinic.
