HPN 2025 Will Be Held In South Kalimantan, Governor Muhidin Optimistic That The President Is Present

BANJARMASIN The peak of the commemoration of National Press Day (HPN) 2025 is confirmed to take place in the courtyard of the South Kalimantan Governor's Office, Banjarbaru.

The Governor of South Kalimantan (Kalsel) Muhidin is optimistic that President Prabowo Subianto will attend the peak of the 2025 National Press Day (HPN) commemoration at the South Kalimantan Governor's Office in Banjarbaru.

"We have discussed the location with the Chairman of PWI (Indonesian Journalists Association) of South Kalimantan. The field in front of the governor's office is quite wide and can accommodate up to 2,000 invited guests," said Muhidin at his residence, Thursday, January 2.

Muhidin also hopes that the peak of the 2025 HPN can be harmonized with the schedule for the inauguration of governors throughout Indonesia. According to him, this will facilitate the presence of regional heads at the event. He also plans to combine the inauguration of regents and mayors throughout South Kalimantan with a series of HPN.

"This synergy will make the 2025 HPN more meaningful, not only for press personnel, but also for the people of South Kalimantan," said Muhidin.

Meanwhile, South Kalimantan PWI Chairman Zainal Helmie expressed his gratitude for the full support from Muhidin.

During the meeting, Helmie explained a number of HPN 2025 agendas, including national seminars and food security action programs.

"We have discussed with the Governor regarding the preparation and agenda of the HPN. Now we just need to confirm the implementation date so that it does not conflict with other national agendas," said Helmie.

Helmie also revealed that his party together with the Head of the South Kalimantan Communications and Information Office would go to Jakarta for a meeting with the Central PWI. One of the important agendas at the meeting was to discuss the presence of President Prabowo.
