TANGERANG - The flow of water in Bukit Tiara, Pasir Jaya Village, Cikupa District, Tangerang Regency turned purple. This phenomenon is thought to have occurred because of factory waste near the location.

One resident named Azzam admitted that he had seen the flow of river water near his house change since this morning, Monday, December 30.

"Suddenly this morning it turned purple like this," said Azzam when confirmed, Monday, December 30.

He hopes that this defamation problem must be immediately followed up by the Tangerang Regency Environment and Hygiene Service (DLHK).

"It must be checked immediately where the source came from. It is dangerous for local residents if they have to be affected," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Legal Development Section of the Tangerang Regency DLHK, Sandi Nugraha, said that his party had taken action by snacking on the sample of the water. He suspects that this water is indicated by the impact of the factory abundance.

He said that until now his party had not received any reports of residents' houses whose water changed purple. According to him, this colored water only happened this time.
