1,500 Joint Personnel Standby During The 2025 New Year's Eve Celebration In Jakarta

JAKARTA - A total of 1,500 joint personnel were deployed in the night security scheme for the turn of the year 2025 celebration. The personnel will be deployed around the Jakarta area.

"There are 1,500 personnel deployed in security," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Monday, December 30.

There are at least 12 entertainment stage points spread across Jakarta. Starting from the Panin Bank Building, SCBD Area, FX Sudirman, Hotel Orient, the World Trade Center Sudirman building.

Then, Wisma Nugra Santana, Japanese Embassy, Sari Pacific Building, Horse Statue Area, UOB Building, Dukuh Atas, Banteng Field.

" along the Sudirman-Thamrin Line as well as Ancol and TMII tourism objects," he said.

At the moment of the New Year's Eve celebration, the police prohibited convoy activities on New Year's Eve. The goal is to prevent something unwanted from happening.

"We declare that the convoy is prohibited with the intention of protecting. Yesterday the Metro Jaya Police Chief in the troop title meeting conveyed the happy atmosphere, the atmosphere of celebrating the turn of the year let's do positive activities," said Ade.

If a convoy is found to have violated the security and social order and criminal acts, the police will take firm action against the groups that carried out the convoy.
