The Corruption Eradication Commission Summons 3 Members Of West Java Regional Representatives In Investigating The Bribery Case Of Indramayu Government Project

JAKARTA - Investigators of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) scheduled an examination of three members of the West Java Provincial Parliament. They will be examined as witnesses in the alleged corruption of project arrangements in Indramayu Regency.

"The examination was conducted at the KPK office of Jalan Kuningan Persada Kavling 4, Setiabudi, South Jakarta", said the KPK Spokesman for Enforcement Ali Fikri in his written statement, Wednesday, April 14.

The three members of the Provincial Parliament who were summoned and will be examined as witnesses are Cucu Sugyati, Al Maida Rosa Putra, and M Hasbullah Rahmad.

It is not yet known the material of the examination of the three, however, they are suspected of knowing about the case being investigated by the KPK.

Previously reported, the KPK conducted a development on the case of alleged receipt of gifts or promises related to financial assistance from West Java Province to the Indramayu District Government in Fiscal Year 2017 to 2019. In the development of this case, the KPK has set a new suspect.

However, based on the current policy of the leadership, the announcement of the suspect and the chronology of this matter are still not deliverable.

The KPK asked the public to be patient. Because, until now, investigators are still working to investigate the case.

Related to this case, the KPK has previously appointed members of the West Java Parliament for the period of 2014-2019 and 2019-2024 Abdul Rozaq Muslim. This determination is the result of the development of the case conducted by the KPK investigators.

The case began with a hand-catching operation (OTT) that involved four people on October 15, 2019. Those who are entangled in the silent operation are Indramayu regent 2014-2019 period Supendi, former Head of Public Works and Public Housing Office (PUPR) of Indramayu, Omarsyah, Head of Road Division in PUPR office of Indramayu Wempy Triyono Regency, and Carsa AS.
