Head of the BNPB Disaster Data, Information and Communication Center Abdul Muhari said the 10 victims who died were nine people because they were buried by landslides and one person died from flash floods.
As many as 10 victims who died were residents of disaster-affected areas, including Tegalbeuleud, Paburuan, Gegerbitung, and Simpenan Districts of Sukabumi on November 3-4, 2024.
He confirmed that currently the victims who died had been evacuated and handed over to their respective families by the joint SAR team of the Bandung SAR Office, West Java Police Mobile Brigade, TNI and volunteers.
