KPU Holds Recapitulation Of Central Java Gubernatorial Election Calculation

The General Election Commission (KPU) of Central Java Province held a recapitulation of the calculation of the vote acquisition for the 2024 Central Java Governor and Deputy Governor Election at the local KPU office, Semarang.

Chairman of the Central Java Provincial KPU Handi Tri Ujiono, when opening the plenary meeting, said that his party plans to recapitulate and complete the determination today.

According to him, all regency/city KPUs in Central Java have completed the calculation and determination of the results of the 2024 Pilkada. "It is complete. Finally, we received the results of the recapitulation determination from the Semarang City KPU," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, December 7.

Handi expressed his appreciation to all stakeholders for the smooth implementation of the regional elections to the vote on November 27, 2024.

"We express our gratitude for the participation of the community who have been present at the TPS," he added.

He hopes that any results in this recapitulation and determination can make history in the implementation of the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada. If there is no dispute over the results of the vote count, he said, it can be resolved more quickly.

"However, if there is a dispute, we will follow the process flow," said Handi.

The calculation recapitulation will be divided into four sessions which are planned to be completed on Saturday night.

The 2024 Central Java gubernatorial election was attended by two participants, namely candidate pair number 1 Andika Perkasa-Hendrar Prihadi and candidate pair number 2 Ahmad Luthfi-Taj Yasin Maimoen.
