Harvey Moeis Gives Sandra Dewi Rolls-Royce IDR 15 Billion Paid Cash

JAKARTA - The defendant in the alleged tin corruption case, Harvey Moeis, as the extension of PT Refined Bangka Tin (RBT), admitted that he had bought a gift for his wife, Sandra Dewi, a luxury car with the ROlls-Royce brand worth IDR 15 billion.

He said the car was black and was purchased in cash around 2023.

"The payment is cash around Rp. 15 billion," said Harvey during the trial of the defendant's examination at the Jakarta Corruption Court, reported by ANTARA, Friday, December 6.

In addition to the ROlls-Royce car, he has also bought Sandra as many as one unit of the Red Mini Cooper Countryman F60 for a gift on his wife's birthday in 2022.

The car, he said, was purchased for Rp. 1 billion and paid in cash as well.

Not only to his wife, Harvey said that he had also bought a unit of Lexus RX300 for his mother worth IDR 1.5 billion in 2019.

"I'll buy this for my mother's operations," he said.

The various luxury cars were cars confiscated related to the alleged money laundering crime (TPPU) Harvey in the case of alleged tin corruption.

Harvey was examined as a defendant in the alleged corruption case in the management of tin commodity trading in the mining business permit (IUP) area of PT Timah in 2015-2022.

The cases of alleged tin corruption, among others, dragged Harvey Moeis as the extension of PT Refined Bangka Tin (RBT), Suparta as the President Director of PT RBT, and Reza Andriansyah as the Director of Business Development of PT RBT as a defendant.

In this case, Harvey was charged with receiving Rp420 billion in cash with PT Quantum Skyline Exchange (QSE) Manager Helena Lim, while Suparta was charged with receiving a cash flow of Rp4.57 trillion from the case that cost the state finances Rp300 trillion.

Both were also charged with money laundering (TPPU) from funds received.

Harvey is suspected of doing money laundering offenses using the proceeds of corruption for his personal interests, including buying his wife a luxury car such as Rolls Royce and Mini Cooper.
