Another Perpetrator Of Voice Box Destruction At Sungai Penuh Jambi TPS Surrenders

JAMBI - A perpetrator of vandalizing the 2024 Pilkada ballot box at TPS 01, Koto Limau Manis Village, Sungai Penuh City, Jambi, surrendered to the police.

Direktur Ditreskrimum Polda Jambi Komisaris Besar Polisi Andri Ananta Yudhistira mengatakan pelaku berinisial HG menyerahkan diri ke Polda Jambi dengan dikawan pihak keluarga.

The determination of HG as a suspect is based on the results of the progress of the investigation from the previous suspect. Then, new evidence was obtained from the suspect that another perpetrator was involved, who has now been named a suspect.

Previously, the police named three new suspects in connection with the criminal act of destroying ballot boxes in the Full River. The three suspects are HG, AT and W.

Against suspect W, the police have sent an investigation summons.

"He only had two options to surrender or be arrested," he said in Jambi, Thursday, as reported by Antara.

Based on the suspect's statement, on the day of the voting of HG and W at around 17.30 WIB to TPS 01 to destroy the ballot box.

Currently, there are 10 suspected perpetrators who have been arrested by the Jambi Regional Police. In total there are 12 suspects who vandalized and burned ballot boxes in Sungai Penuh.

Meanwhile, the five polling stations in the Sungai Penuh had re-voted (PSU) a few days ago.
