Welcoming President Prabowo, Residents Crowd Roads In Kupang

KUPANG - A number of residents in the city of Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, stood along the road welcoming the arrival of President Prabowo Subianto who will attend the Tanwir and Milad events to 112 Muhammadiyah at Muhammadiyah University.

According to ANTARA's monitoring along Thamrin Street to Ahmad Dahlan, Kupang City, Wednesday, several students from elementary to high school lined up holding flags, there were millions carrying photos of President Prabowo Subianto.

Not only that, several residents of Kupang City whose houses are on the path that President Prabowo Subianto's entourage will go through are also ready with their respective devices to capture the moment of the arrival of the number one person in Indonesia.

"This is the first time Pak Prabowo has come to Kupang with his position as President," said Martha Nubatonist.

Martha admitted that this is the first time the road is full of residents who want to see directly and greet the 8th President of the Republic of Indonesia.

In addition, several security officers ranging from the Police to the TNI were also on guard along the road to ensure that the crossing of vehicles passed by President Prabowo and his entourage was safe.

Prabowo arrived in Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) on Tuesday (3/12) at 19.00 WITA to attend the national event from the-112th Muhammadiyah Tanwir and Milad sessions.

"Wednesday, President Prabowo is scheduled to attend as well as open the 12th Muhammadiyah Tanwir and Milad Sessions at Muhammadiyah Kupang University, Kupang City," said Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana.
