Bawaslu The Performance Value Of The 2024 Pilkada Ad Hoc Body Is Better Than The Election

JAKARTA - Member of the Indonesian Bawaslu Lolly Suhenty assessed that the performance of ad hoc bodies during the 2024 Pilkada was better than the 2024 General Election. The assessment was based on the low recommendations for re-voting (PSU).

"The work of Ad hoc friends is better, so the mistakes that must be corrected are not as many elections as last time," said Lolly in media gathering with the theme "Evaluation of Simultaneous Election Supervision in 2024," in Bintan, Riau Islands, Tuesday, December 3, was confiscated by Antara.

The pilkada ad hoc body consists of the District Election Committee (PPK), the Voting Committee (PPS), the Voting Organizing Group (KPPS), the Voter Data Update Officer (Pantarlih), to the order officers at the polling station.

One of the provinces referred to by Lolly is South Sulawesi. Lolly explained that in the 2024 General Election, Bawaslu gave recommendations in the form of re-voting (PSU) at 69 polling stations. In the 2024 Pilkada, Bawaslu gave PSU recommendations at 13 South Sulawesi TPS.

Apart from South Sulawesi, Lolly also highlighted the PSU recommendations given by Bawaslu to Papua during the 2024 General Election. Papua is very high, if I'm not mistaken, the 90s recommended (PSU). But today, Papua is only 36," said Lolly.

Based on the distribution data, Lolly concluded that recommendations for PSU, re-voting (PSSU), further voting (PSL), and follow-up voting (PSS) decreased in the 2024 Pilkada, when compared to the 2024 General Election.

"So it seems that what is called a recommendation for the PSU and PSSU events, PSL, and PSS, the data has decreased," said Lolly.

RI KPU member Iffa Rosita explained that the re-voting (PSU) will be held no later than Friday, December 6, 2024.

Based on data from the Indonesian KPU on Monday, December 2, at 09.00 WIB there were 496 polling stations (TPS) that would again vote on the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections.

If detailed as many as 149 polling stations will re-vote (PSU), 242 polling stations (PSS) and 102 polling stations carry out further voting (PSL).
