JAKARTA - Member of the House of Representatives from the PDI-P (PDIP) faction TB Hasanuddin responded to the statement by the Chairman of Commission III of the DPR as well as the deputy chairman of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman, who called the issue of the Chocolate Party (Parkok) a joke in the 2024 simultaneous regional elections a hoax.

The West Java electoral district legislator admitted that his party had pocketed data related to the involvement of the Chocolate Party or the deployment of officers in the 2024 simultaneous regional elections.

"I think this is the case. The one who conveyed the first was the DPP and the DPP must have data on the things that were conveyed," said TB Hasanuddin, Monday, December 2.

TB Hasanuddin also mentioned the reporting of DPR member of the PDIP faction Yulius Setianto regarding his statement about the Chocolate Party.

He considered that Yulius' statement about the Chocolate Party does not need to be questioned by the Honorary Court of the House of Representatives (MKD).

"Then Pak Yulius conveyed what was conveyed by the DPP what was conveyed by the factions. As long as the faction does not object, it means that there is a match between members of the faction and the faction, so it cannot actually be questioned in the MKD," said the member of Commission I of the DPR.

Previously, Habiburokhman said that there were members of the DPR who were reported to the DPR MKD because they were considered spreading hoaxes about the Cokelat Party, aka the police officers who participated in the 2024 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections (Pilkada).

However, he did not reveal the name of the DPR member in question.

"What was conveyed by a handful of people regarding the chocolate party (brown party, ed) and so on was that we categorized it as a hoax," said Habiburokhman, quoted on Saturday, November 30.

"There were also members of the DPR who conveyed it, and the person was even reported to the MKD because I am also a member of the MKD," he continued.
