MAKI Promises To Give IPhone 16 To People Who Arrest Harun Masiku

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) has promised the iPhone 16 for anyone who can arrest the fugitive from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Harun Masiku.

This was conveyed by MAKI Coordinator Boyamin Saiman in response to a competition initiated by the Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait.

The former PDI-P politician promised Rp8 billion for anyone who found the briber of former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan.

"I would like to welcome anyone who made a competition for Harun Masiku's arrest. Because I myself have also made a competition, but my gift at that time was the latest iPhone. Until now, the competition is still in effect," Boyamin told reporters in his statement, Friday, November 29.

Boyamin said this competition was actually not new. He has promised it for a long time since Apple issued the IPhone 11 series.

"My strength, yes, is only the latest series of cellphones, right, the prize. At that time it was still an IPhone 11, now it's an Iphone 16," he said.

Boyamin hopes that this competition will encourage the community to help search for Harun. "So that later it can be processed further. If this can be processed, no one will be held hostage anymore," he said.

"With the process that has not passed, it has made many things that can be played. Both by power and by the opposition. So, yes, I fully support it if indeed this is something that makes a competition again," continued Boyamin.

Maruarar Sirait's statement about the competition was busy after a 1 minute 21 video circulated on social media X. The former PDI-P politician (PDIP) initially offended PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto who admitted to sending his father's book, Sabam Sirait with the title 'Political It's Holy'.

"I haven't received the 'Political' book yet. Please, we accept it, from Mas Hasto and I am very happy if I can get it and make me more enthusiastic," said Maruarar in the video.

Maruarar said the book would certainly ignite his enthusiasm. One of them is to move the network to find Harun Masiku, who is still at large.

"And I also do, I will use energy to help and move my network, for example, there is one big case that I see will involve big people in this republic, which concerns Harun Masiku," he said.

"Who is Harun Masiku, how come he hasn't been arrested for years, huh. I will give a bonus for those who can catch Harun Masiku, IDR 8 billion in my personal money. Yes, so that enthusiasm, so that in this country who are above the law, and I use the blessings of God to eradicate corruption in Indonesia," said Maruarar.
