JAKARTA - Chairman of the PDIP DPP for National Legal System Reform Ronny Talapessy said that his party found various alleged violations committed in a structured, systematic and massive manner (TSM) in a number of areas in the 2024 Pilkada.

Violations during the 2024 Pilkada, said Ronny, will be collected to be evidence in the trial of the 2024 Pilkada dispute lawsuit in the area that is the finding.

"We see that TSM has occurred in Central Java, North Sumatra, North Sulawesi, Banten, East Java. We are collecting these data," said Ronny at the PDIP DPP Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Thursday, November 28.

Allegations of violations found by PDIP include the deployment of police officers to intervene in the regional head democracy party. He saw that it was strongly suspected that it had been seen when the placement of the police chief at the police and police levels during the Pilkada.

Not only in police institutions, he said, this is also trying to be designed by the appointment of regional heads (Pj) in a number of areas that Jokowi is targeting as former President. Ronny said this was clearly seen in the process of changing the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta.

"The Acting regional head of DKI Jakarta has replaced the sub-district head in 12 regions. So the indication is that this rotation is to win the RIDO pair. Because we will break down again how to mobilize social assistance, then how to deploy ASN devices. We will break down again at the Constitutional Court," explained Ronny.

"Then, there was also the Acting Regional Head in Central Java. We will break down things like this, we will convey them to the Constitutional Court through our petition," he added.

On that occasion, Ronny alluded to the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) number 136/PUU-XXII/2024 which changed the phrase in article 188 of Law Number 1 of 2018.

The ruling reads "every state official, regional official, ASN official, TNI-Polri member, and village head or other designation/lurah who deliberately violates the provisions as referred to in Article 71, shall be sentenced to a minimum imprisonment of 1 month or a maximum of 6 months and/or a fine of at least Rp600 thousand or a maximum of Rp6 million".

However, what was found in the field, in fact, the decision seemed ignored.

"We really hope that later at the PHPU trial at the Constitutional Court, judges can see widely, not only depending on articles per article, but how the Constitutional Court can reverse this deformed democracy after the 2024 Pilkada," added Ronny.
