Motives For The Stabbing Of Ketapang Laok Sampang: Arguing For A Visit Permit For A Group Of Candidates For Regents

The East Java Regional Police revealed the motive for the stabbing in Ketapang Laok Village, Sampang Regency some time ago which killed a person named Jimmi Sugito Putra.

The Director of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) of the East Java Regional Police, Kombes Farman, explained that the stabbing case on Sunday, November 17, began when H Slamet Junaidi (Candidate for Sampang Regent number 2) visited Kiai Mualif's Babussalam benchmark at around 14.30 WIB.

"Due to a sudden visit, Kiai Mualif asked his students to gather worshipers to welcome H Slamet Junaidi. The visit was known by Kiai Hamduddin ( Kiai Mualif's brother)," said Farman as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, November 21.

Kiai Hamduddin, caught H Slamet's group crossing in front of his house and headed for Kiai Mualif's pavilion.

"That's where the problem started. Kiai Hamduddin didn't accept it because he was older than Kiai Mualif," said Farman

Moreover, said Farman, H Slamet's visit was without permission from him.

Kiai Hamduddin blocked the road by car and pieces of wood with the aim of blocking access off the road from Kiai Mualif's pavilion.

Not accepting the road blockade, Kiai Mualif came to Kiai Hamduddin's pavilion. Kiai Mualif ordered Jimmy Sugito Putra (victim) and three other people namely Muadi, Mat Yasid, Abdussalam to ask Kiai Hamduddin to open the road blockade.

"However, Kiai Hamduddin rejected this and advised the group to take another way. Then, one of Kiai Mualif's groups said with Madura's accent to the penghadang.Mon Acarok Gih Degik Yeh. (If you want to take a look later)," said Farman.

The group H Slamet Junaidi continued to leave the location through another route. Not far after leaving Kiai Mualif's house, there was an argument between the group Kiai Mualif and Kiai Hamduddin.

"Kai Hamduddin did not accept it because Kiai Mualif gathered dhikr students without permission or kulonuwun to Kiai Hamdudin as Ketapang Laok religious figures," said the police.

Then Kiai Hamduddin said Kiai Mualif's party was rude because only immigrants brought in people.

"Asked by Asrofi (Surahan Kiai Mualif) What kind of rudeness? Wong here just stopped by. Where's the fault? Want to be rejected, right? It's not good," said Farman imitating the conversation at the scene.

From the argument, Afrofi was asked to enter Padepokan by Jimmy Sugito Putra (victim). However, Asrofi was chased by Kiai Hamduddin's group. Victim Jimmy tried to protect Asrofi from being chased by the crowd.

From this incident, there was an issue if Kiai Hamduddin was beaten by Kiai Mualif's group.

"The issue made Kiai Hamduddin's group angry that there was persecution of the victim Jimmy Sugito Putra," said Farman.

In this case, the police named three suspects, namely the three suspects, namely Moh Suaidi, Fendi Sranum and Abdul Rohman.

The three suspects were charged with Article 170 paragraph 2 3e of the Criminal Code regarding violence that resulted in death. Currently, the three suspects have been detained at the East Java Police Detention Center. "The threat is a sentence of 10 years in prison," said Farman.
