Prabowo Subianto-Puan Maharani Is Considered To Be Pairable In 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - Chairman of Gerindra Prabowo Subianto Party and Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia Puan Maharani are considered to be pairable in the 2024 presidential election.

This was conveyed by political observers from the College of Social and Political Sciences (STISIP) Setia Budhi Rangkasbitung Harits Hijrah Wicaksana.

"It could be that Prabowo-Puan's spouse was brought forward in the 2024 presidential election," said STISIP Chairman Setia Budhi Rangkasbitung Harits Hijrah Wicaksana in Lebak, Banten, as reported by Antara, Sunday, April 11.

During this time, the communication between PDI Perjuangan Political Party and Gerindra Party went smoothly. The possibility of the issue raised by Prabowo was paired with Puan in the 2024 presidential election.

That, he said, will certainly repeat the history of Batu Malang results that set Megawati-Prabowo's spouse in the 2009 presidential election.

Participants of the 2009 presidential election were followed by Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono-Boediono, Megawati-Prabowo and Jusuf Kalla-Wiranto.

However, according to him, the 2009 presidential election was won by SBY-Boediono.

"I think, in the sense of politics, Prabowo could be paired with Puan in the 2024 presidential election," said Lecturer Untirta Serang.

According to him, actually, PDI Perjuangan has an advantage with a Presidential Threshold of 20 percent and can carry its own President Candidate.

However, he said, if forced with Soekarno's descendant (Puan), to move forward in the 2024 presidential election, it certainly can not help to victory, because Puan's rating is still below Ganjar Pranowo.

Based on the records there was a photo of Moeldoko paired with Puan as a presidential candidate and vice-presidential candidate, but the public was less interested.

The pair, he said, as a tester only for political enthusiasts, and if Moeldoko-Puan's name is good in public they could possibly be advanced in the 2024 presidential election.

If according to him, Megawati Soekarnoputri and Puan have statesman souls, it is ensured PDI Perjuangan will carry Ganjar Pranowo in the upcoming presidential election.

The suspension, he said, could be repeated PDI Perjuangan choose Joko Widodo as a presidential candidate.

Because, the results of the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI), Ganjar Pranowo are in the top rating along with Prabowo, Anies Baswedan, Sandiago Uno and Ridwan Kamil.

"I think the political constellation is dynamic and Megawati could have brought her best cadre, Mr. Ganjar Pranowo," he said.
