Electability Of 44.8 Percent, Tri-Harris Potentially Wins In Bekasi Pilwalkot

The East West Research Center (TBRC) released the results of the latest survey related to the election of the mayor and deputy mayor of Bekasi in the 2024 Pilkada. As a result, the electability of the tri Adhianto-Harris pair Bobihoe was superior and could potentially win in the Bekasi Pilwalkot.

The Executive Director of the East East Research Center (TBRC), Johanes Romeo, said the results of the top of mind answers to open questions showed that the Tri Adhianto-Harris Bobihoe pair received vote support reaching 44.8 percent.

"This result has increased compared to the TBRC 7-15 October 2024 survey with the Top of Mind option reaching 41.9 percent, an increase of about 2.9 percent," Johanes said in his statement, Wednesday, November 20.

While in second place it remains unchanged. Where in the October survey the pair Heri Koswara-Sholihin was chosen as 28.7 percent, up 0.9 percent, to 29.6 percent. Meanwhile, the Uu Saeful Mikdar-Nurul Sumarheni pair got 5.2 percent down to 4.7 percent, and those who did not provide answers and doubted as much as 20.9 percent.

Then on a closed question with a quartic paper, as a result, the electability of the Tri Adhianto-Harris Bobihoe pair reached 55.4 percent.

"Meanwhile, the pair Heri Koswara-Sholihin 35.1 percent, the Uu Saeful Mikdar-Nurul Sumarheni pair 4.4 percent, and 5.1 percent of respondents did not answer or vote," he continued.

Johanes revealed that the survey results also showed the level of determination of the respondents' choice of voting day at the polling station. As a result, respondents who chose Tri Adhianto-Harris Bobihoe were 93.8 percent and who would change the choice on voting day by 6.2 percent.

Meanwhile, 82.7 percent of those who chose the Heri Koswara-Sholihin pair were determined by their choice until voting day and 17.3 percent were not determined or changed their choice.

"Then for the Uu Saeful Mikdar-Nurul Sumarheni pair as much as 70.7 percent are stable with their choice and 29.3 percent are not determined in their choice," Johanes explained.

The results of this survey also measured the perception of Bekasi City residents about the performance of Tri Adhianto who was Deputy Mayor and Mayor of Bekasi for 5 years. As a result, 81.4 percent of Bekasi City Residents were satisfied with the performance of Tri Adhianto as Deputy Mayor and Mayor of Bekasi. Meanwhile, as many as 15.3 percent were dissatisfied and then 3.3 percent abstained.

"The results of this survey can conclude that the Tri Adhianto-Harris Bobihoe Pair will be the winner in the 2024 Bekasi Pilwakot," he concluded.

The TBRC survey was conducted on November 7-15, 2024, involving 1,700 respondents covering 12 sub-districts in Bekasi City, which were chosen proportionally based on data on the number of the Permanent Voter List (DPT) for the 2024 Pilkada.

The survey used a stratified multistage random sampling method. The margin of error obtained in this survey is +/- 2.38 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.

Separately, the Bekasi Mayor Candidate, Tri Adhianto responded positively to the results of the Bekasi Pilwakot survey. He is grateful, the majority of the people are satisfied with the impact of development in Bekasi City.

"Alhamdulillah, the value of public satisfaction with the performance of the Bekasi City Government has received satisfied survey results, of course we also try our best even in all limitations," said Tri, Wednesday, November 20.

According to Tri, the results of this expansion are thanks to the work of the Bekasi City Government from the highest level to RW/RT administrators in Bekasi City who continue to strive to improve quality public development and services in Bekasi City. This includes following up on complaints in the community.
