JAKARTA - A political observer from Djuanda University, Gotfridus Goris Seran, sees a tendency to increase the electability of the Bogor City Guard pair number 2 Atang-Annida to follow pair number 3 Dedie Rachim and Jenal Mutaqin will continue until voting day as long as two strong factors can be achieved from the opponent.

According to Seran, the electability of regional head candidates in the 2024 Bogor City Pilkada is influenced by two main factors, namely candidate figures and issues that develop in society.

"The figure of Dedie A. Rachim and Jenal Mutaqin, despite having experience in the executive and legislative fields, is considered unable to resolve several important issues in Bogor City, such as unemployment, basic services, as well as city management problems that have an impact on congestion and cleanliness," he explained.

Seran assessed that the issue of unemployment, basic services and urban arrangement were opportunities for other couples, especially Atang Trisnanto and Annida Allivia, who were considered more responsive in responding to these problems.

Atang, who has a good track record in the world of government, and Anrida, who is considered capable of attracting the attention of young voters, is considered capable of building a larger electoral attraction, especially among young voters.

With the closer the election day approaching, the 2024 Bogor City Pilkada contestation is expected to be even more exciting, with stiff competition between the three main pairs: Dedie-Jenal, Sendi-Melli, and Atang-Anida.

"For Bogor City voters, the 2024 Pilkada is an important moment in choosing a leader who is expected to be able to overcome the various challenges that exist and bring positive changes to this city," he said.

The results of the latest electability survey conducted by the Indonesian Poldata Survey Institute show that the candidate pair for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Bogor number 2, Atang Trisnanto and Anrida Allivia experienced a positive trend in vote acquisition ahead of the Bogor City Pilkada which will be held on November 27, 2024.

The survey, which was conducted on November 1-10, 2024, revealed the latest electability data from a number of candidate pairs (Paslon) in the Bogor City Pilkada. As a result, the Dedie A. Rachim and Jenal Mutaqin pair received the highest electability with 33%, followed by the Sendi Fardiansyah and Melli Darsa pairs with 22%. Atang Trisnanto and Anrida Allivia reached 21%, while the Raendi Rayendra and Eka Maulana pairs as well as the Rena Da Frina and Teddy Risandi pair were at the bottom with 7% and 5% electability, respectively.

However, what is interesting is the prediction conveyed by Indonesian Police Researcher, Fajar Arif Budiman. According to him, with less than 10 days remaining ahead of election day, the Atang-Annida pair had a great opportunity to exceed Dedie-Jenal's electability, given the potential for significant accountability.

"The Atang and Anrida pairs show a positive trend, with increasing electability. Meanwhile, Dedie and Jenal's electability tends to decline," said Fajar during a public discussion entitled "Public Discussion of the 2024 Bogor City Pilkada: Measuring the Strength of the Bogor Mayor Candidate Pair in the 2024 Pilkada", which took place on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at Imah Nini Coffee, Bogor.

Meanwhile, the results of the UIKA survey with Radar Bogor put Atang-Anida in position 2. Paslon Number 2, Atang Trisnanto and Anrida Allivia, who are in second place with 24.66 percent of the difference in votes with Candidate Pair (Paslon) Number 3, Dedie Rachim-Jenal Mutaqin with 33.38 percent of the votes.
