Jokowi Reveals Reasons For Supporting Ridwan Kamil In The Jakarta Pilkada

JAKARTA - The 7th President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) revealed his reason for choosing Ridwan Kamil (RK) in the Jakarta Pilkada.

Jokowi revealed that RK has a qualified track record with all its experience as a leader, so it is very worthy to lead Jakarta.

"He is the right person to lead Jakarta with all the challenges of the problems that exist, because he has experience in building the City of Bandung and West Java (West Java) Province," Jokowi said as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, November 18.

Jokowi revealed that RK has been proven to be able to organize the city of Bandung better.

Likewise with a greater scope, namely as Governor of West Java.

In addition to this experience, according to Jokowi, RK also has the right scientific background to build Jakarta into an advanced and humanist urban or urban area.

"He has a qualified scientific background. He is an architect, so it is proven that his capacity is to build urban areas," said the former Mayor of Solo and the Governor of Jakarta.

Jokowi explained that the experience and track record made him support RK as a leader for Jakarta residents.

Meanwhile, Ridwan Kamil said the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia was an example who had contributed a lot to the nation and state, thus becoming one of the role models as a capable leader in Indonesia.

In the meeting and dialogue activities, RK together with a number of representatives of supporting parties and volunteers, heard Jokowi's directions and experience while leading the city of Solo, Jakarta, and as president.
