"The distance from the village to the bridge is about 4 kilometers and if using a vehicle must get off there then cross and change vehicles or walk about 2 kilometers to the main road access," he said.
Therefore, he continued, the village government took steps to help spend the needs of the citizens by registering the basic needs that residents want to buy and the costs.
"Yesterday I walked to the Eggplant area to buy necessities at BUMDes there and for transportation by sea by renting a boat bodily other villagers in Watan Pao," said Sohlang.
Furthermore, he said that in addition to damaging the bridge, the flood that hit the local village also damaged a number of other important facilities, namely reservoirs, irrigation trenches, and village health posts.

Sohlang added that there were no fatalities as a result of the disaster but until Friday, April 9, there had been no support for emergency response assistance from the local government.
