In this meeting, the two leaders will also finalize negotiations on the Indonesia-Peru Comprehensive Economic Partnership (IP-CEPA).

"The closing of CEPA negotiations, which will mark a milestone with the aim of encouraging an increase and diversification of commercial exchanges between the two countries," said President Dina.

Indonesia and Peru will also discuss the cooperation agenda of fighting the illicit drug trade and regional and global issues.

Meanwhile, President Prabowo also welcomed the IP-CEPA which is expected to be signed within the next six months.

"I hope that within six months the agreement will be signed and hopefully we will sign it during your visit to Indonesia with your delegation," Prabowo said.

Prabowo also agreed on the discussion of cooperation in drug eradication, as well as the common view of peace and stability in Pacific countries.
