17 Campaign Activities Held In The Thousand Islands, Bawaslu Did Not Find Violations

JAKARTA - The General Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) said that there were no allegations of election violations in the Thousand Islands Regency during the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada campaign period.

"So far, 17 campaign activities have been monitored and so far there have been no allegations of violations", said a member of the Thousand Islands Bawaslu, Ulil Amri, when opening the Coordination Meeting of the Gakkumdu Center, which was held in Jakarta, Thursday, November 14, was confiscated by Antara.

According to him, through the Gakkumdu center involving Bawaslu, the Thousand Islands Police and the North Jakarta District Attorney can prevent other violations.

He assessed that the role of the Gakkumdu Center was very important in the implementation of the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

"This is considering that there are many entrances to the Thousand Islands region, especially to populated islands," he said.

Ulil added, through the Coordination Meeting of the Gakkumdu Center, it is hoped that it can increase coordination between the Thousand Islands Bawaslu and the Police and the District Attorney's Office in handling violations so that the regional elections run according to the rules.
