Motorcyclist Damages Busway Line Barrier When Stuck In Cengkareng Congestion

JAKARTA - Hundreds of motorcyclists and cars were seen stuck in a long traffic jam on the Busway lane at the suspension bridge stop, Jalan Daan Mogot, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, Monday, November 11.

But unfortunately, the impact of the traffic jam actually led to the destruction of public facilities in the form of a concrete MCB, the separator of the Transjakarta bus lane.

This long traffic jam incident was recorded by the residents' amateur cameras. In uploading the video, it can be seen that several motorcyclists damaged the mcb separator of the Transjakarta lane barrier by tearing it down.

The action was carried out so that the motorbike they were driving would not get stuck in traffic jams on the busway path they were crossing. Even though the main road that is next to the busway lane looks deserted and flows smoothly.

Motorcyclists can be seen working hand in hand destroying busway barriers to open up. Their actions received negative comments from netizens.

Motorcyclists crossing the busway route actually damage public facilities for busway separators which can actually endanger other passing motorists. Meanwhile, the case is being handled by the West Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit.
