JAKARTA - Indonesian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Anis Matta emphasized that the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) must support the Palestinian struggle, asserting that up to three times "we are Palestinians".
He conveyed this when attending the Preparation Meeting of the Extraordinary OKI and Arab League Summits in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 10.
"The Palestinian struggle to seize independence is the basis for the formation of the OIC. That is why we are all Palestinians and must help the Palestinian struggle," he said, citing a statement from the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Monday, November 11.
