After Being Examined, East Java Kajati Said Edward Tannur Was Not Involved In The Bribery Of 3 Judges

According to Mia, during the examination, Edward Tannur asked his wife, Meirizka Widjaja, to submit the entire legal process for the bribery case that befell Ronald to the panel of judges and lawyers.

"Actually, his father did not participate. He stated that I had read in his examination (BAP), leave it to the panel, leave it to his lawyer. So he doesn't want to be involved," Mia Amiati said in her statement, Tuesday, November 5.

Mia explained, based on the examination file, Edward Tannur was not involved in preparing bribes for the panel of judges who decided the case was free for Ronald Tannur.

"Karena kesibukannya itu, dia tidak ingin terlibat langsung menyiapkan uang. Aliran dana untuk suap itu ya dari istrinya, yang sekaligus ibu dari Ronald Tannur. Saya bukan penyidik, yang jelas ibunya itu yang berperan," tambahnya.

Ia menegaskan, dari hasil penyidikan ditemukan bukti yang mengarah pada Meirizka Widjaja sebagai pihak yang aktif memberikan suap kepada majelis hakim yang mengadili perkara putranya. Oleh karena itu, Meirizka Widjaja ditetapkan sebagai tersangka dan telah ditahan di Rumah Tahanan (Rutan) Kejaksaan Tinggi Jawa Timur.

"It turns out that all this time, those who are active in the process are the mother of Ronald Tannur. Based on the instructions and results of the investigation, we have designated her mother as a bribe giver," he said.
