Israeli Air Attack On Houses In Northern Gaza Kills 10 People

JAKARTA - Israeli airstrikes killed 10 Palestinians in Gaza. It was reported that seven people were killed in the attack on two houses in the city of Beit Lahiya, northern Gaza, and three casualties in the attack on houses in the Nuseirat camp in Gaza.

Several people were injured in both attacks. Israeli troops reportedly sent tanks to the northeastern Nuseirat camp on Monday, November 4 morning.

Israel deployed tanks to Jabalia, Beit Hanoun, and Beit Lahiya on October 5, 2024, saying it was meant to prevent Hamas from gathering again.

Palestinians say new air and ground attacks and forced evacuations are ethnic cleansing' aimed at emptying two cities in northern Gaza and refugee camps to create buffer zones.

Israel denies this by saying it is fighting Hamas militants launching attacks from there.

Gaza's state media office managed by Hamas said the number of Palestinians killed since October 5 was 1,800 people and another 4,000 injured.

There has been no confirmation of the figure from the regional health ministry and Israel has repeatedly accused the Hamas media office of exaggerated the death toll.

Israel says its forces have killed hundreds of Palestinian gunmen and dismantled military infrastructure in Bali in the past month.

The war erupted after Hamas-led militants attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, killing about 1,200 people and taking 251 people back to Gaza, according to Israeli tallies.

Israel's retaliatory attacks have killed more than 43,300 Palestinians, according to Gaza authorities, and left most of Gaza in ruins.
