Genshin Impact Introduces Lan Yan, First Character With Shielder Anemo

JAKARTA Genshin Impact, a game with an open-world concept under HoYoverse, will release a character named Lan Yan at the Springtime Charts event. This event will be held in phase 5.3.

In accordance with Genshin Impact's statement on its official website, Lan Yan can be obtained free of charge if players participate in events held at a limited time. This is good news for fans who have been waiting for Lan Yan since last November.

Lan Yan is a character from Liyue who works as a rattan weaving in the Chenyu Valley. This character has Anemo elements and the main role is Support. Interestingly, Lan Yan is the main Anemo character who has a shield.

With a Catalyst weapon, Lan Yan uses a fur ring to carry out four regular attacks. When calling Swallow-Wisp Shield, Lan Yan can jump forward and jump into the air after hitting the target.

While in the air, Lan Yan can throw his hair ring at the opponent by pressing Elemental Skill or Normal Attack. Later, the two Lan Yan rings will circle around the opponent. If hit by the opponent's body, Anemo DMG will be produced.

For material assessment, Lan Yan needs material for Shivada Jade Silver, Clearwater Jade, Wrapperflower Nectar, and Gold-Inscribed Secret Source Core. Even though Lan Yan is a character from Lyue, the material needed is in Natlan.

For character level improvement materials, Lan Yan also needs the Teachings of Diligence, the Wrongflower, and the Erroded Sunfire. If you want to get this character, you need to wait for the Lantern Rite event which is expected to be released on January 24.
