The lightning strike killed 14 people while worshiping in a refugee camp in Uganda. The disaster that occurred in Lamwo district, northern Uganda, injured 34 others.
The victims, who have not been identified, have gathered to pray when it rains at around 17.00 p.m., and lightning strikes at 17.30 p.m.,' said Ugandan police spokesman Kituuma Rusoke, quoted by CNN, Monday, November 4.
The Palabek refugee camp is on the side of the Ugandan border with South Sudan, and houses about 80,000 people, most of whom are from the country.
