Palace: Prabowo Proud Of The Maung Car Made By Pindad

Head of the Presidential Communication Office Hasan Nasbi said President Prabowo Subianto was proud of the production of the Maung vehicle made by PT Pindad, so he asked the ranks to use similar official vehicles.

"Pak Prabowo uses it as a presidential car and he is proud of Pindad's production, and he has indeed given directions to ministers, deputy ministers, heads of agencies, as well as to use the same official car," Hasan said at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Antara, Wednesday, October 30.

Hasan said he did not yet know the types and number of Maung vehicles to be used as official vehicles for cabinet members. He said that currently the government is still planning.

"I don't know the total, to be precise. Later, this will go through stages, just be patient, so that doesn't mean today, then tomorrow it will happen, it's not like that. So it needs to be planned for sure first," he said.

According to him, the procurement of Maung cars for official vehicles for cabinet members and heads of agencies will be managed by the relevant ministries.

"The details are certainly not in me. It must be the Ministry of State Secretariat who takes care of it later with the Ministry of Finance," he said again.
