Hezbollah Shot 50 Projectiles Into Israel, One Dead

JAKARTA - About 50 projectiles crossed southern Lebanon into Israeli territory. Several projectiles were intercepted, while others were affected.

The projectile passed when the siren sounded in Israel's Upper and West Galilean territory on Tuesday, October 29 at noon, the IDF said.

One person was killed in an attack in the northern city of Ma'alot-Tarshiha, Israeli emergency service Magen David Adom (MDA) reported.

"There was a major damage at the scene," an MDA medical officer said.

Meanwhile, Israeli attacks in Lebanese Bekaa Valley killed more than 60 people in dozens of cities. Rescue workers are still removing bodies from the rubble on Tuesday, October 29 morning.

Lebanese officials, human rights groups and the affected residents of the city said the attack was indiscriminate.

No evacuation orders were given to any city that was attacked overnight. Bachir Khodor district governor said 67 people were killed and more than 120 injured and the death toll is expected to rise.

"Those are just the people who have been rescued from the rubble and we still don't know the exact death toll. This is the most cruel day for▁pertemuanek in the past year," Khodor told Reuters.

The death toll includes nine people killed in Ram, said Nazih Mayor Noun, including a woman and four children.
