Prabowo Waits For Prabowo's Direction Regarding Minister Using Maung

JAKARTA - Minister of Villages and Development of Disadvantaged Regions (PDT), Yandri Susanto responded to President Prabowo Subianto's direction asking the ranks of the Red and White Cabinet to use the Maung car as an official vehicle.

As an assistant to the president, Yandri said, his party followed the president's order.

"We as his assistant, we are Sami'na wa ato'na, ready. Whatever the president's orders we will participate, and are ready to carry out the duties of the President," said Yandri, Tuesday, October 29.

Yandri admitted that until now the ministers had not used the car made by PT Pindad for their official vehicle. The PAN politician is also waiting for President Prabowo's direction regarding the Maung car.

"Not yet (used, red). Yes, if (given by the State Secretariat, red) we just wait, just wait for directions," said Yandri.

Previously, President Prabowo was said to have ordered all levels of the Red and White Cabinet, from ministers, deputy ministers, to echelon I officials in the ministry to use the Maung car made by PT Pindad (Persero) as an official vehicle.

The Maung made by Pindad will replace luxury sedans and MPVs that have been imported from Japan. Prabowo does not want imported cars to become official vehicles for ministers and deputy ministers of the Red and White Cabinet.

"Pak Prabowo has said that next week there will be no more imported goods for echelon I cars with ministers, extraordinary," said Deputy Minister of Finance Anggito Abimanyu.

Anggito also stated that officials of the first ministry and echelon of President Prabowo Subianto's administration would facilitate Maung's car as his official vehicle.
