Jessica Wongso 3 Times Proposes PK, Prosecutor: A Form Of Breakup Asa

JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) said Jessica Kumala Wongso showed her despair when she decided to apply for a Review (PK) more than once.

Jessica Kumala Wongso is said to have applied for PK three times to date.

"This third PK application is a form of despair," said the prosecutor during a trial at the Central Jakarta District Court, Tuesday, October 29.

The prosecutor assessed that Jessica Kumala Wongso was desperate to avoid being responsible for all her actions in the murder case of Wayan Mirna Salihin.

In addition, the applicant also experienced despair because in the previous trial, the evidence tested was very strong. Evidently, Jessica Kumala Wongso was still found guilty.

"To avoid responsibility for strong evidence showing suspicious activity of PK 3 applicants at the scene," said the prosecutor.

It is known, Jessica Kumala Wongso first submitted a PK in 2018. At that time, the Supreme Court (MA) decided to reject the request.

Reporting from the official website MA, www.mahmahagung.go.id, the case with register number 69 PK/PID/2018 was decided on December 3, 2018.

As for the second PK application, it is not known in detail. The prosecutor who had mentioned the right did not explain it.

For the third PK application, it is known to be registered on October 9. The application is registered with file number No.7/Akta.Pid.B/2024/PN.Jkt.Pst.
