Luthfi-Yasin Team Reports Candidates For Regent Sukoharjo And 4 Village Heads To Central Java Bawaslu

SEMARANG - The Legal Team for the Candidates for Governor and Deputy Governor of Central Java Ahmad Luthfi-Taj Yasin Maimoen reported the Candidate for Regent Sukoharjo Etik Suryani to the Central Java Provincial Bawaslu for alleged campaign violations using state facilities.

In addition to the single candidate in the Sukoharjo Pilkada, the Secretary for Legal Advocacy for the Luthfi-Yasin Winning Team, Muh. Harir, said that his party also reported the Grogol sub-district head and four village heads to the election organizers.

Harir suspects that the Grogol sub-district head is mobilizing the four villages in the sub-district to attend the activities of the Prospective Regent of Ethics Suryani.

The Grogol sub-district head, he continued, made an official letter to the four village heads to present their citizens.

He mentioned the four villages whose citizens attended the event, respectively Langenharjo, Pondok, Panderan, and Parangjoro villages.

"Residents are asked to attend socialization activities for protection and social security for vulnerable workers on September 25, 2024," he said.

In this activity, according to him, the Candidate for the Regent of Ethics, Suryani, also gave a speech.

In his remarks, Harir said, Ethics asked residents to choose the Candidate Pair for Governor Number Urut 1 Andika Perkasa-Hendrar Prihadi.

"We also included the invitation letter and video for the Candidate for the Regent of Ethics Surani in the report to the Central Java Provincial Bawaslu," he said.

At the end of the activity, he said, the hundreds of participants also received an allowance of Rp. 100,000 per person.

Reports of alleged election violations have been received by officers receiving complaints from the Central Java Provincial Bawaslu.

Central Java Province Bawaslu Law analyst Budi Afantri said his party had received a report from the Luthfi-Yasin legal team.

"Furthermore, the Central Java Provincial Bawaslu will examine the report for the next 2 days, then we will clarify it," he said.
