American Arab Descendants In US Michigan Express Trump's Support, What's The Reason?

JAKARTA - Arab-United States (US) descendants attended the Donald Trump Presidential Candidate campaign in Michigan.

Citing CNN, Trump's campaign team called them "leading leaders of the Michigan Muslim community".

They expressed their support for Trump in the 2024 US Presidential Election.

"We, as Muslims, support President Trump because he promised peace, not war," Imam Belal Alzuhairi said on the Trump campaign stage in Michigan, USA.

Alzuhairi, an American of Yemen who is the Imam of a mosque in Michigan, describes Trump as a candidate for "peace".

On the campaign stage which took place on Sunday, October 27 local time, Trump invited Muslims and Arab-Americans to support him in the 2024 US Presidential Election on November 5.

The former US president also said he relied on "extraordinary support" from voters in the state of Michigan.

"They can change elections in one direction or another," Trump said of the Arab and Muslim communities criticizing US support for Israel's aggression against Gaza.

Support for Trump in the previous 2024 presidential election was also conveyed by Israeli Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu.

Trump if he wins it is considered Netanyahu can make Israel more flexible in navigating conflicts in the Middle East, especially in Gaza, Lebanon, Yemen and those faced with Iran.

During his tenure as US President, Trump has also issued several policies that benefit Israel by moving the US embassy to Jerusalem.

Trump while leading the US also changed the old US rules by recognizing Israel's sovereignty over the Golan Heights, which is occupied territory.
