The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating allegations of corruption related to cooperation in the procurement of computers and laptops at PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (INTI) (Persero) by summoning a number of witnesses today, Monday, October 28. Incidential practices allegedly occurred in 2017-2018.
"The KPK has scheduled an examination of witnesses suspected of corruption related to the 2017-2018 computer and laptop procurement cooperation project," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters, Monday, October 28.
Tessa said there were five witnesses being questioned. They have the initials NG, VAK, ADS, ND, and YG.
As for the information obtained, the witnesses were the Director of PT Mitra Buana Komputindo (MBK), Natalia Gozali; Victor Antonio Kohar as Director of PT Asiatel Globalindo; Adiaris as Business Director of PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia in 2016-2017; Nilawaty Djuanda as Finance Director of PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia 2014-2019; and Senior Account Manager of PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia in 2017-2018, Yani Gustiana.
Until now, Tessa has not detailed further about the alleged corruption at PT Inti (Persero). However, usually the announcement is made after investigators confirm the adequacy of evidence and proceed with detention efforts.
