Two Years Of Being A Fugitive, Jambret Pademangan Was Shot In Warakas, Jakut

JAKARTA Two years as a fugitive from the police, DLL (28) was finally arrested by the police for a robbery case in Pademangan, North Jakarta, in 2022. Because they resisted, police officers gave hot bullets to DLL's legs.

"We were forced to give measured action to the perpetrators," said North Jakarta Metro Police Deputy Chief AKBP Wahyudi, ANTARA, Friday, October 25, 2024.

"Officers have searched the house, it's empty, it turns out that he is hiding above and there is already a place for him to rest," he said.

He said that then the perpetrator had run through the roof window of the house to the neighboring tile and had time to fight back.

"There were even our members who fell and head injuries," he said.

He said the suspect snatched on July 21, 2022 and at that time the victim and her husband sat in front of the Pademangan II Gang 13 Mosque, then the perpetrator passed by and monitored the surrounding conditions.

When the perpetrator felt the situation was safe, the perpetrator immediately took the victim's cellphone which was being used, the victim, who was surprised, immediately grabbed the back of the victim's motorbike and was dragged on a 10-meter-long road.

At that time there were embankments and the victim's head was hit by the embankment hard and made the handle on the motorcycle iron come off. This victim was immediately admitted to the hospital due to the incident and was in a coma for three months and died," he said.

The perpetrator managed to snatch the victim's cell phone and the victim's husband at the time of the incident also tried to chase the man but what caught him was the perpetrator's bag.

According to him, the bag contained the perpetrator's wallet, identity and joint team of the Pademangan Police conducting an investigation and search at his house. However, at that time, it was not found in 2022.

For almost two years, we found a bright spot and received information that the suspect had reappeared at his residence, Warakas. There we made the arrest on Saturday (19/10)," he said.

The special room of the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kanit Reskrim) of the Pademangan Police, AKP Gede Gustiyana, explained that the officers had carried out raids six times at the perpetrator's house but were unsuccessful.

It turned out that, he said, at the perpetrator's house there was a special room for the DLL perpetrator's rest area in the ceiling and the perpetrator's family was not cooperative.

In addition, the perpetrator also moved domiciled, after carrying out his actions to Kalimantan, then the longest he became a crew member in the Javanese area.

"That is what makes it difficult for us to carry out investigations, as well as minimal witnesses about his movement, a family who was not very cooperative at that time, so we had difficulties," he said.

He admitted that officers were helped by residents in the perpetrator's house who did not like the perpetrators of DLL. During Lebaran, there was information that the perpetrator was at his house but when he was raided he was no longer there.

"At yesterday, we arrested him on Saturday, we had searched the house empty, it turned out that he was hiding above in the special room," he said.

AKP Gede Gustiyana said the perpetrator was a single player and there was no network.

He could not adapt to a new place and returned to Jakarta until he was finally caught.

The perpetrators were charged with Article 365 paragraph (1) and paragraph (3) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 362 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 15 years in prison because the victim died.

The victim's husband, Dody, thanked the officers who managed to arrest the perpetrator.

Dody came to the Pademangan Police Station with his daughter and saw the perpetrator firsthand.
