Yamaha R15 Driver Oleng On Damaged Road, Falls Run Over By Truck

JAKARTA - A sports motorcyclist was found dead in a pathetic manner after being run over by a trailer truck on Jalan Yos Sudarso, precisely near Pintu III Pertamina Plumpang, Kelapa Gading District, North Jakarta, Friday, October 25.

North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Head Kompol Donni Bagus Wibisono said the motorcyclist with the initials RNH died at the scene (TKP).

"RNH was injured and died at the TKP and the vehicle was damaged," said Kompol Donni when confirmed.

Kompol Donni said, initially the victim, who was riding a Yamaha R15 sports motorbike with police number B 4084 SAR, drove on Jalan Yos Sudarso from north to south.

When he arrived in front of Gate III of Pertamina Plumpang, the victim tried to overtake the trailer truck from the left which was driving in a direction. However, because the road was uneven and flooded with water, the victim's motorbike slipped and fell.

As a result, the victim was run over by a trailer truck with police number B 9244 UIZ.

"Precisely near Gate III Pertamina preceded from the left because of the different height of the road and the puddle of water slipped to the right, hit by the front wheel of the trailer vehicle," he said.

The victim was declared dead at the scene of the accident. Meanwhile, the case of the accident was handled by the North Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit.
