BTP Socialization Of Sanctions Related To Only 2 Days Operating Underpass Batulis Bogor Kena Vandalism

JABAR - Class I Railway Engineering Center (BTP) Bandung regretted the vandalism in Batutulis Underpass, Bogor City, West Java (West Java). The Batutuli underpass only started operating two days ago.

Observations at the location, graffiti by unknown persons, can be seen starting from the wall of the cliff retaining wall. Entering the tunnel, the left right wall also has a large scribble that appears to be written using spray paint.

"We deeply regret this, because the purpose of building the underpass is for the common good," said Head of BTP Bandung Endang Setiawan in Bogor, Thursday, October 24, confiscated by Antara.

As an anticipatory measure, Endang said BTP Bandung would conduct socialization related to sanctions from vandalism. One of them is through social media.

"We will conduct socialization, one of which is through social media related to sanctions from carrying out vandalism in public facilities in accordance with the Criminal Code Article 406 and Article 408," he said.

In addition, he also appealed to the public to participate in maintaining public facilities, to comply with their functions. Because, according to him, maintaining public facilities is not only the task of the government, but also a joint task.

"So we hope that the community can work together to help the government maintain public facilities, because the biggest benefit is for the community," he said.

It is known that the Batutuli Underpass will start operating with the open and close system on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 23.00 WIB until Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 03.00 WIB.

"On October 24, 2024, starting at 04.00 WIB, it will be operated normally (from both directions)," said Endang.
