Central Java Police Prepares VVIP Crossing Pamwal For President Prabowo And Ministers Of The Red And White Cabinet

The working visit of the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto with the Minister of the Red and White Cabinet to the Military Academy (Akmil) Magelang on October 24 to 27, 2024, took place with strict security. A number of security strategies were carried out by the Central Java Police (Central Java) to ensure that the entire series of events took place safely and smoothly.

Dirlantas Polda Central Java, Kombes Sony Irawan, when giving directions to all Polri personnel involved in security at GOR Gemilang Pemda Magelang explained that the security and escort of the route traversed by the VIP group was a top priority.

"Security is focused on the path that will be passed by the Indonesian President's entourage from Yogyakarta to the Military Academy of Magelang. To ensure smooth running on the path that the President and ministers go through, we have mobilized personnel to occupy a number of points and intersections, especially points that have the potential to cause traffic jams," said Kombes Sony Irawan in a written statement, Thursday, October 24, 2024.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Artanto, explained a number of security strategies carried out by the Police. His party also combed and sterilized a number of locations to be visited.

"The sterilization is carried out by Unit K9 from the Central Java Regional Police and the Magelang City Police to ensure that every location to be visited is completely safe from all forms of threats and disturbances," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police.

To support the security of President Prabowo Subianto's visit activities and the Ministers of the Red and White Cabinet, 9 security posts have also been established at strategic points around the City of Magelang.

"We have established several security posts around the Magelang City area to monitor the situation directly and provide a quick response to the developing situation," said Kombes Artanto.

The joint TNI-Polri patrol for 24 hours was also held to maintain security stability during the visit. This patrol is carried out throughout the City of Magelang to prevent potential security disturbances.

The Central Java Regional Police also involved Sat Brimob personnel as a contingency beating unit. The unit, which is equipped with various tactical vehicles, thickens the Raimas Sabhara unit which acts as a preemptive beating unit.
